Maximum coherence through complex simplicity
Validian is a public utility for digital truth. It's a decentralized protocol that creates a permanent, verifiable record for any digital file. Using open cryptography and decentralized storage, Validian anchors media to the blockchain, creating a universal and permissionless standard for authenticity.
Signature-based verification chain from capture to public, offline-capable proof — with optional anchoring and tokenization layered on top
Validian separates truth from value. First, the protocol provides a permanent guarantee of authenticity for any file. From there, creators have the freedom to turn verified assets into unique, ownable digital objects through optional NFT tokenization. This allows anyone to prove ownership and participate in the digital economy with confidence.
Validian is built as an open verification protocol for digital media. Its purpose is to make provenance portable: any verifier should be able to inspect an asset, recompute its hashes, validate signatures, check proof artifacts, and understand exactly which claims are proven, attested, inferred, or still unverified.
